Community Information

Many of us moved here because of the beauty of the natural surroundings. We want to preserve this beauty.

Loch Alpine is an unincorporated development of over 400 homes. Our shared concerns are environmental. Our homes were built around a golf course that is no longer viable; the fate of this land is now uncertain. A developer want to build new homes that will decrease the value of current residents' homes and deprive us of beautiful open space. Loch Alpine has a stream and two small lakes impacted by farming practices upstream. We share a community well, too, and water quality is always a concern.
