LGBT+ housing diversity environment affordable

My Community is a diverse group of students, young professionals, and families that bond over our love of the avenues neighborhood. We gather at beautiful churches sprinkled through the streets, at beautiful parks near the edge of the city, and occasionally shut down the street to throw a fiar.

Culturally I think the Aves represent the intersection between where we came from and where we want to go. There is a solid mix of young students, joined by established or retired leaders in many fields. We all have a shared love for the state of Utah, hoping to preserve its beauty while increasing the diversity where we live.

Living so close to downtown Salt Lake City you have a great mix of students/business professionals that come from a whole swarm of different backgrounds and careers. Ultimately I think we'd like to see more sustainable growth, housing options that keep prices affordable while maintaining the beautiful aesthetic of the aves. (No cookie-cutter big box apartments). Folks love to walk and explore the avenues and so finding great ways to increase population while keeping our roads safe (Public transit options, walkable communities, etc.)

Although this community is diverse, separating it would be a tragedy, it is our diversity of opinion/income/careers that encourage us to see the world from additional perspectives and create a community focused on bettering the world instead of keeping it the same.
