Most people have come to the United States from other places and settled in the area all hoping to achieve a better life for themselves and their children. Most people are Dominican or Puerto Rican as well as immigrants or children of immigrants so the need to feel connected to the motherland and those around you that also want that is what attracts people to one another.
So many different jobs are held by those around me, I’d say mainly laborers or people who work in physically demanding fields.
The community is highly populated and very dense. Lots of people share a very small space. Not enough greenery/nature around. Roads are also not as managed as they should be so they get full of potholes easily. I’d say making more effective use of the space we have here. For such a high population the space isn’t used properly. More affordable housing and resources for those in need should be more accessible to the community.
