My community is a mixture of city and rural, with a diversity of people from various backgrounds and cultures. We all share in a historical faith community, with churches that go back as far as 150 years. We have access to good healthcare services, schools, and recreational resources. As we enjoy what we have, we are always looking towards making things better and more prosperous for everyone who lives here.
The most historical part about my community is the long standing historical Black and White churches. And many of the present day members are descendants of the founders who started a a walk of faith for them to follow.
In order to acquire jobs with better pay, many people travel miles away to for employment. Industry is very limited here and there is very little to attract it.
People here need jobs, and they need for those jobs to pay a decent livable wage. Jobs that provide these needs will also provide growth for our community. I am comfortable with the way that our present district lines. The present lines provide an opportunity for many people to vote for leaders who they can identify with. We want and deserve the opportunity to have leaders that we trust will have our well being as the force that drives all of their actions. We do not want to be unfairly divided in the Redistricting process.
