My community is made up of Binghamton University students. The university is our main point of access for healthcare, the library, and transportation, although we do also Broome public transport. Binghamton students frequent the bars and restaurants downtown and commonly volunteer or intern for organizations in the community.
Young (19-28), often live Downtown or on the Westside, more politically progressive than the rest of Broome county
Students are often employed by the university or in the service industry i.e. Mcdonald, Starbucks, Marshalls. They also often work in the local schools. Student neighborhoods usually have a lot of litter and garbage.
