Community Information

The gather and socialize in our neighborhood and in downtown Austin.

Our community is rapidly changing with new entrants joining on a record pace. They are not represented because our district is go gerrymandered and we are but a small portion of the district.

Our community sits right on top of the city's largest aquifer. We are currently represented by a district that runs up the state 200 miles away where our current Rep lives - who has no interest in the impact actions have on our local environment.

Each congressional district is supposed to represent roughly 700,000 people. Austin TX has 1.2 million people and should not be split into 5 districts that snake into every other area of the state. We are purposefully diluted by rural areas that are not part of our actual community.
