My Community is made of people who shop on Fordham Road and 170th Street, 170th consists of Shoe and Clothing stores and Trucks with fresh produce being sold on the street to everyone in the neighborhood. We have Lehman College, Monroe College, Fordham University and more. Lots of big parks where everyone goes to Barbecue and Party the minute it becomes hot. Football, Baseball, and Basketball are all played widely in this district. The District has Bronx Lebanon Hospital.
My community is made up of Majority Hispanic Descent, with African Americans and Caribbean's outlining the area especially near 167th Street. The languages mostly spoken in this area are English, Spanish, Arabic, and French. There are people of all ages as this is a family area.
My community has residents employed just about everywhere in NYC. Environmental Concerns would be sanitary conditions in the streets, with garbage normally piled up in the day and Sanitary Workers not cleaning until 3 AM.
My Residential Community relies on the fresh produce and Clothing/Tech/Food industry as everyone is working class. These people need fairly priced food, and services that allow them to eat healthy and be able to feed their families on a budget.
