Community Information

My community utilizes the services of the City of Casa Grande. This includes Parks and Recreation, the public libraries, schools and social services. My community accesses these services daily across the city. These services and activities are essential as it is a rural community and people cannot easily access metro area services

My community is made up of BIPOC populations in Casa Grande. Different populations share languages, traditions, values and culture. We face the common hardship of being underrepresented in government.

My community is located in Rural Arizona. Agriculture and manufacturing are two very important industries to my community. Not only do people depend a lot on these industries, these industries are major employers in this area.

My BIPOC community is located in Casa Grande, in Pinal County, and is split between two legislative districts. I do not feel my community should be split. The BIPOC community of Casa Grande spans across the entire city; however, the interests and use of services are very similar. My community needs to be together in one district to ensure fair, equitable and proportional representation.
