Your response: My community is made of families that gather around the park surrounding the New York State Correctional Services Training Academy

Your response: A large percentage of my neighborhood seems to be comprised of folks at or near retirement age, and the majority of workers are employed by NYS agencies.

Examples of needs or concerns: Keep community in the same district or separate into multiple districts, shared policy concerns, need for a social service, relationship to other nearby communities, issues with current district lines

Your response: We could use greater competition in telecommunications, as it currently is restricted to Spectrum-only internet which drives up our prices. Literally two blocks away the residents are able to choose between Verizon and Spectrum, and it has lowered their prices while increasing their speeds and reliablility.A community gym, or the ability to use the nearby Training academy gym in the off-hours would be very appreciated, and would help to increase the overall health of our community.We could also use more local events, rather than needing to find our own transportation to downtown Albany for the majority of events.Lastly, implementing sidewalks in our neighborhood would be wonderful.
