My community is made up of CUNY Baruch College students (15,000 of the 250,000 CUNY students. CUNY students who make up the majority of college graduates in NYC) near Stuyvesant Town Peter Cooper Village. This community is Manhattan's Community Board District 6 of 59) and is within the U.S. 12th Congressional District (represented by Carolyn Maloney).

The Baruch College and CUNY community may be large in scale, though competes with the rest of the world for highly coveted, high wage-earning jobs. (Think Goldman Sachs or 200,000 Wall Street jobs that just saw their biggest bonuses since 2008 and who also contribute most toward NY's federal income taxes - and all of the CUNY students (who may be equally educated though without the advantages of paid-for, dormitory-set-up-and-lived in IVY league or private school upbringings) who are left-out of the jobs.
