My community is made up of people who attended a preschool and middle school right down the block from my house. Many of my neighbors attended these schools growing up due to it's location, there also being a hosiptal about 2 blocks down the street in case of emergencies.
My community is mostly made up of a mix between people of either european or albanian decent, however there has been an increase in asian and hispanic residents in the past 3 years.
There is a lot of woods and animals near my community, things like deer, rabbits, owls, etc. There are also parks nearby, a new park actually being built up the block from my own house.
Politicians and map drawers should know that there tends to be a more democratic environment where I live as compared to other parts of Staten Island, for example the south shore which has a very high republican and conservative population.
