My community is made up of people who rely on buses as their main mode of public transportation. People in my community gather at the queens center mall and the parks. We have a hospital in the community and various schools in the neighborhood.
My community is diverse with various ethic/religious groups in the neighborhood that is demonstrated by the diverse range of places of worship. We have a wide range of languages and age groups however we all share a similarity of being either first generation americans or children of first generation americans.

My community is struggling with the rise of rent prices and lack of affordable housing. Along with the phasing out of small businesses, many in the community are struggling with job security and homelessness with a lack of resources for our homeless.
