Community Information

diversity education environment

My community gathers in Greenville on Rte 52 where there are cafes and restaurants. My community also gathers in Hockessin where at the Hockessin Athletic Club for exercise classes, youth activities and summer swim gatherings. My community has a public school system that is accessible via bussing, but my community also has multiple private schools that provide alternative educational opportunities for our children.

My community is not a very diverse community. In order to have a diverse worship service my community extends into the City of Wilmington. My community does have museums that are close by, the Natural History Museum was a favorite for my children when they were young. But the opening of the Wilmington Children's Museum a few years ago also extends my community into Wilmington to provide that experience.

My community is a suburban community surrounded my trees and nature. Burying the power lines in my community would be so beneficial as the slightest wind and our power goes out.

My community requires a car to reach a major supermarket. There is currently a plan for a new supermarket within our area, but until then we have to travel to Hockessin, Newport, Wilmington and Rte 202.
