My community is made up of people who work in public education. That community includes the local public school system and state university. Many people work and socialize in the downtown area. There are many shops, restaurants and things to do on the weekends.

My community has a large urban Native American population. The largest is the Chickasaw nation who also employ a significant number of people.

My community is home to the University of Oklahoma. It is an economic driver in central Oklahoma.

Norman has concerns about the unhoused population many of whom suffer from addiction and mental health issues. The community is also concerned about voting power being diluted by being split between multiple districts.
