My Community includes the Oro Valley Marketplace. We meet there to shop, but also hold art fairs and other social gatherings. It also includes Steampump Ranch which holds many events for our community. My community extends to Ft Lowell St in the south which includes the stretch of the Rillito where the Loop passes through. It also includes St Phillips Plaza where we gather. It does not include Pinal County and rural areas to the north. It includes Oro Valley hospital.
My Community has many retired people who are politically and civically engaged, well-read and environmentally conscious. It is an ecclectic group and enjoys the diversity within.
My community is environmentally responsive and many members moved to this community to be outside as much as possible. We believe in supporting our community both financially and physically by donating money for the upkeep of our area as well as participating in community events.
My Community is not contained soley in Oro Valley limits, but we have few commons interests at northern Pinal county. Our Legislative District is so spread out we cannont communicate effectively with each and don't value the same things.
