Community Information

healthcare diversity mental health education environment

My community includes the Salt Lake City School System, park services, downtown entertainment venues and and Sugarhouse shopping and dining.

Our community is diverse and includes many transplants to the SLC area.

Our community is employed in both local positions with the University of Utah and Intermountain health systems, and some travel to Park City or Silicon Slopes to work. They enjoy concerts at Red Butte, hiking in the Wasatch Front. They are concerned about air quality in the valley.

Our city is currently drawn to align with rural areas. Representatives should come from our city or metropolitan area and rural representatives should come from those areas. Dividing the city as it currently is doesn’t serve our interests, nor are more rural or other cities well represented.
