I go to the Las Vegas Paiute Health & Human Services clinic for medical appointments. This is about 20 miles away from my home. Sometimes I may go to the Moapa Paiute IHS clinic which is about 140 miles round trip. The nearest IHS hospital is in Phoenix. My Tribe does not offer services to me as an urban Native and non-resident.I do not have full coverage services from Paiute and zero dental. There are no state plans offered for just dental, only option is out-of-pocket. For my dietary health, I prefer organic foods and I must drive far to go to Sprouts or Trader Joes.

My neighborhood is mostly white demographic who seem entitled and not very neighborly. We are not in an HOA. The area seems majority retired folks.

The housing development is adjacent to the 215 freeway near the Fiesta Henderson and is very loud, and affects air quality. There is a train track near the end of the neighborhood, that has no alternate route if a train comes. This is especially concerning for emergency response.

Elected officials representing this area should consider going forward with building a bridge over the railroad. There should be more healthy grocery store alternatives developed nearby. Assist with local casinos that need to return operations and employment. Improve statewide dental and healthcare. There are no LGBT+ nearby for services or social.
