The immigrant population in Braintree is growing. The Asian Community is currently 13.8%, and continues to grow. One contributing factor to the growing population could be attributed to the fact that many families living in Quincy tend to move towards Braintree for a more family oriented community, good schools, and convenient location. Families in Braintree and Quincy have similar values such as a good education, a focus on extracurricular activities, preserving or learning a second language, and a good environment for their children.

Braintree is also a very diverse community where immigration population is high. There are 2 Asian buddhas temples in Braintree serving the surrounding towns Asian buddisms signifying the demand and religion of the population.
