My community attempts to provide arts and entertainment through various tax dollar supported agencies and groups. These need to be protected and encouraged to continue to provide diverse and enjoyable cultural opportunities to the community.
Utah is a desert and water is its most valuable resource. Water must be used rationally. The local military base needs to be respectful of the local civilian population and manage noise and EPA compliance. Housing cost too much and young people can not afford to live on their own - many having to live with parents or in groups.
The state needs to stop gerrymandering areas to dilute voting populations of other faiths (non-Mormon), ethic (Black, Hispanic, Asian), and political (Democrat). The wrong people are being chosen to run for political office - they are being bought and paid for by out of state donors, political action groups, and lobbyists.. The best people don't run because they are not 'connected'. Affordable healthcare and coverage for those responsible citizens that attempt to take care of themselves, manage preexisting conditions, in good faith pay as best they can for medical insurance, and do not abuse the system by not being vaccinated or using emergency care for minor issues.
