Examples of needs or concerns: Keep community in the same district or separate into multiple districts, shared policy concerns, need for a social service, relationship to other nearby communities, issues with current district lines

Your response: My community shares a concern for ensuring excellent education for all of our community. Many people are employed by Duke, Unc, NC Central, Durham Tech, NCState, public and private schools. Retirees, singles, families everyone shares concern about the General Assembly’s support for education. A second concern is housing and affordability. We support affordable housing for middle and lower income people. We recognize that our community needs a more balanced range of housing. We are active in recycling, insulating our buildings and support public transportation as well as other ways this community wishes to protect the environment.
