Your response: Traverse City is the main provider of services. These services include healthcare, shopping, fairs and festivals. M-22 is a key transportation network. M-72 is as well.

Your response: Traverse City is the cultural hub of my community.

Examples of economic or environmental interests: Tourism industry, agricultural workers, mining town, manufacturing center, polluted natural resource, unemployment problem, etc.

Your response: My community is all of Leelanau County and Traverse City. Tourism is the main industry. Fishing community and farming community as well. Cherries are a popular agricultural product.

Examples of needs or concerns: Keep community in the same district or separate into multiple districts, shared policy concerns, need for a social service, relationship to other nearby communities, issues with current district lines

Your response: There isn't adequate and affordable housing for workers that are seasonal and are employed by the tourism industry. The fishing industry is dying due to invasive species in Lake Michigan. Working people are being squeezed out of the local economy.
