Examples of activities and services: Shopping areas, schools and universities, libraries, parks, lakes, rivers, places of worship, healthcare services, public transport, local nonprofit organizations, etc.

Examples of economic or environmental interests: Tourism industry, agricultural workers, mining town, manufacturing center, polluted natural resource, unemployment problem, etc.

Your response: Environmental issues include poor air quality, heat mitigation due to climate change, and having enough green space for community mental health and flood mitigation.

Examples of needs or concerns: Keep community in the same district or separate into multiple districts, shared policy concerns, need for a social service, relationship to other nearby communities, issues with current district lines

Your response: Affordable housing is an issue, but housing density and quality also is a concern. One issue I see is that while there has been explosive growth in multi-family housing units, they are almost exclusively apartments. I would like to see more multi-story units that people can own to build equity, and that they be units that 1. are big enough for families and 2. are well-constructed for living with attention paid to things like sound-proofing and garden areas for residents of all ages to enjoy.
