My neighborhood is home to Saint John's University's Queens campus. The university, which was also my undergrad, has a large campus that spans over 11 streets and has nine separate gates. There are many surrounding restaurants that accept student IDs for a discount.
My community consists of a large Chinese Jewish population, while also being home to Saint John's University's Queens campus. There are a lot of Asian restaurants and supermarkets surrounding my neighborhood. The main street is my neighborhood is Union Turnpike.
The residents of this neighborhood are located near a busy turnpike, so the area is quite industrialized. There is a huge problem with inflation and how expensive basic resources have gotten.
The needs of this neighborhood include more public safety, as the crime rate has gone up in the past year.
