Community Information

housing healthcare voting rights environment affordable

I feel that the people who make up my community as a whole are very progressive individuals. Many of us have been here since its initial development about 30 years ago. This is a very beautiful area that boasts many trees on well-manicured lawns. When speaking with neighbors, it is easy to determine that we all care about our community and what goes on here. We welcome those new neighbors who hold the same values, and we definitely look out for each other. Churches, shopping, healthcare, restaurants and grocery stores are only minutes away, and so are the major highways. It is an ideal pace to live.

At this time I cannot think of anything that is historical about my community except that it is a part of Historical Savannah. Therefore, we have access to historic colleges, arts museums, premier hospitals and beautiful churches and people flock here by the thousands to enjoy what Savannah has to offer.

Many people enjoy employment that allows them to elevate their careers and plan for their future. There are many employment opportunities here along with those of gaining a higher education. Environmentally, we have learned to trust that our government services are keeping the big companies in check as citizens seek to enjoy an environment that is clean and free of contaminants.

I hope that as my community continues to grow, it will be able to choose leaders who fairly represent our shared values. Knowing that the population of Georgia has enormously grown over the past 10 years, we are seeking fair mapping of our districts.
