My community is made up of parishioners of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Comstock Park. We make sandwiches for charity and have donation and fundraising campaigns often. My community also includes attendees of the Highlands park and patrons of the Kent District Public Library, Walker Branch.
My community is concerned with intersectional environmentalism. We want to prevent the construction of pipelines that disproportionately affect marginalized communities, especially indigenous populations.
My community could benefit from more prevalent public transportation or better walking/biking accessibility. It would decrease emissions and allow the community to grow.
