My community is made up of Muslims that live in Sheepshead Bay, and we often see each other at the mosque or other social events.
This community is in a neighborhood that has seen a rise in real estate value tremendously over the years. The bay is a fishing spot, where people dock boats. Now it has become a luxurious neighborhood with flashy cars and lights.
With real estate booming here, many people in my community invest in houses or own stores. We often see one another when ever we walk into a deli, either they're working or just hanging out.
This community has a lot of homeless people that harass strangers and sometimes attack others. America in general has a homeless people problem, and this is one of the areas where it is prevalent.
