My community is made up of people who have recently moved into their homes (the oldest home dates back to only 2004). Many people relocated from out of state and do not have family here, thus the community acts more like a family. The community is socially conscious, and likely to self advocate.

My community is located near Anschutz medical campus. Many people work at the University of Colorado, the VA, and the Childrens Hospital Colorado.

Our community is still growing, and needs schools / seats in schools, and completion of planned park space. Both come with a cost that is apparently not set aside for this expected need. Also, the rapid growth in the area could potentially bring incompatible projects in close proximity - allowing the market to drive development is unlikely to yield the best solution, more oversight is necessary. The Suncor plant pollutes the entire Front Range, and we are no exception. The Sand Creek and Westerly Creek waterways come through the community and are polluted by E-Coli. There is a threat of fracking under homes on the north side as mineral rights are not owned by homeowners.
