The grocery stores and big box in the neighborhood are major points of commerce for residents in the neighborhood and in the wider NE and FNE Denver area. The pools and parks/playgrounds in each part of the development are also major socializing/gathering spots.

Many residents are employed by the hospitals in Aurora, or commute downtown, many oil and gas white collar workers too
Our neighborhood holds a lot of economic and voting power and is less diverse compared to adjacent historical communities of color. I would like my neighborhood to be cognizant of the power dynamics in its relationships with its neighbors and support our neighboring communities in their needs rather than in cannibalizing their resources.
