Church across the street from my apartment complex. Many people in my community are homeless so people mostly gather at the local shelters and churches. There are about 5 churches (2 Baptist, 3 Catholic). There are about 4 homeless shelters nearby that are busy. The Food stamp office is nearby as well. There are a variety of stations for public transport (buses).

There is a museum of natural history, 2 art museums mostly centered on Las Vegas' history nearby. The Paiute Colony is also nearby. The historic Las Vegas Mormon Fort is also very close. I live close to at least 4 cemetery's.

Most are unemployed. The apartment complex I live in is The Hand of Nevada. I have seen some neighbors that work in the medical field. One concern that I have is that many of the people in my community are homeless and live on government assistance. An Amazon warehouse just recently opened in my area. I have concerns about all the littering in my area as well. And there are many people who are under the influence out in my neighborhood. There are also feces and urine in the streets and on the sidewalks often in my area.

My area is overrun with homeless. There is garbage everywhere. There is a garbage pile that gets up to 4 feet high 4 times a month on Vegas Drive, on 8th street near the cemetery. My area smells like feces and urine often. There is a gated area for the homeless teens on Las Vegas BLVD near the intersection of Main st., I avoid that area at night.
