Community Information

Over development and real estate speculation, steep slope building, expensive empty townhomes and condos are some of the economic problems preventing affordable housing for Chattanoogans.

People in my community gather at the Wyatt YFD center, Coolidge Park, CCA high school, and Stringers Ridge. The closest library to my community is the Downtown library and most grocery shopping is done at Publix on N market or Aldi on Mountain Creek road.

The North Chatt community interacts closely with the red bank community near the white oak park area and shares many businesses and churches. Hixson pike is a natural boundary. There are many older neighborhoods with long standing neighborhood associations map drawers need to listen to prior to drawing maps!
