My neighborhood is located along Bogue Sound and is made up of many retirees, interspersed with some younger families with school-age children. We are concerned for our environment, as well as issues related to the elderly including Medicare, Social Security, and access to assisted living facilities. Public and community college education are also areas of interest. We are a politically active neighborhood (on both sides of the aisle) and care about voting rights.
