Community Information

My community is made up of mostly families in middle-to high income range. Our area is very high-growth, with shopping, restaurants, and single-and-multi family housing going in constantly. We live in the desert outside of the city, and are very outdoorsy. Most families have multiple cars and do not use public transport.

We are mostly transplants to Arizona, and most of us are relatively new to our area since this area was not built up until beginning in the early 2000s.

We are very interested in making sure we keep a balance between the services we need and maintaining our outdoor desert living.

We need services for families, quality education options, and more services and shopping options as our area continues to grow. We do not have much in common with more rural areas around us such as Desert Hills, or Cave Creek. Anthem is a similar community. Other areas that are currently included in our legislative district such as Black Canyon City, Prescott, Prescott Valley and other areas farther from Phoenix have nothing in common with us.
