LGBT+ housing diversity elderly environment

The Montbello community takes part in many activities together and is often in great need of gathering places. We often use the Montbello Rec Center, Montbello Library, Montbello Open Space, Boys and Girls Club, Green Valley Ranch Rec. Center, Parkfield Lake, GVR Library. The Montbello High School campus and Montbello Central Park are the heart and soul of the neighborhood and must stay together.

Entire community of Montbello, the diversity as a historic AA community and now majority Latino. Spanish, Ethiopian, and many other languages are spoken, we have immigrants and refugees from around the world. And these communities must be kept intact to ensure their voices are strong and represented.

We need access to workforce centers, education and technical training opportunities, environmental justice is a huge issue as the Montbello community is next to a former superfund site.

we must keep Montbello Central Park and the Montbello High School campus together and not split it. Social services, access to resources and cultural ties make it necessary to try and limit the splits of historic neighborhoods of color.
