Cultural or Historical Interests
People in my community gather at the Wyatt YFD center, Coolidge Park, and Stringers Ridge. The closest library to my community is the Downtown library and most grocery shopping is done at Publix on N market or Aldi on Mountain Creek road.
Community Activities and Services
Residents are employed some in downtown/Hixson and all over Hamilton County. Over development and real estate speculation are two economic problems my community is facing.
Economic or Environmental Interests
North Chattanooga is made up of a mixture of old families who own their original houses and have been there for 40+ years, wealthy white homeowners and renters of various demographics and religious affiliations.
Community Needs and Concerns
The North Chatt community interacts closely with the red bank community near the white oak park area and shares many businesses and churches. Hixson pike is a natural boundary.

My community is a very small, tight-knit town that it is, in a sense, isolated from the rest of the county. We often attend the same churches, restaurants, and other faculties up here due to long drive down the mountain.
Economic or Environmental Interests
My community has often faced issues with our water and sewage. There have been instances in the past where one has polluted the other, leading to a collective need to act accordingly in response.
Community Needs and Concerns
There is a neighboring town next to mine that is set within a different district. Due to that, many students in those areas are not allowed to enroll in ours, despite the other closest ones being off of the mountain. Their options are essentially limited to home-schooling.

My community is comprised largely of workers who commute off the mountain into work each day. The main environmental concerns in my community are access to water, the maintenance of infrastructure (like sewers, water, roads, and septic tanks), and problems with stormwater runoff and deforestation.

My community is made of people who attend or have attended Red Bank High School. They also shop at the local Food City or Walmart.
Economic or Environmental Interests
My community is located in a valley.
Community Needs and Concerns
My city is split up into two separate districts, right down the middle. The division line is right by the local middle and high school. They should be one district.

Cultural or Historical Interests
The population in my community appears to be predominately white younger couples, but I know the DuPont Elementary Zone is very diverse (including a robust African-American and LatinX population). I do know of a handful of artists in the area as well as an Asian population that is served by a local market. The history of the area seems to focus heavily on the history of the local Lupton Mill.
Community Activities and Services
My community contains Lupton Drive Baptist Church, DuPont Elementary, and 3 shopping areas. The nearest public library and healthcare services would be in the adjacent Hixson, and Red Bank areas. Public Transportation runs nearby along Hixson Pike.
Economic or Environmental Interests
Many of the local residents are employed in the downtown and surrounding Chattanooga areas. The area (including parts of Red Bank and Hixson) contains many invasive species.
Community Needs and Concerns
The community is in need of public right-aways and sidewalks in residential areas. The area is in need of a more efficient school and public transportation system. The area seems to be growing in popularity, which appears to be drawing in a younger population.
