Cultural or Historical Interests
Diverse communities like ours is made up of various ethnicity, religious groups, languages, and economic backgrounds. Though we all get along and enjoy learning from each others culture.
Community Activities and Services
Our community is a very diverse, and we gather throughout our community, such as in our parks, libraries, shopping, schools, place of worship, coffee shops, along our city streets. Everyone is friendly. Our services include, healthcare services, public transportation, schools, emergency assistance.
Economic or Environmental Interests
Our community has various businesses that surround us, as well as close by public transportation. The White Sox Team is within walking distance to enjoy. The organization always donates to the community.
Community Needs and Concerns
Our community is very concerned over the loss of what makes up our neighborhood. Cutting up the community because culture and race isn't a reason to remap if you want people to learn to get along. Our community gets along beautifully and we respect each other. We as a community learn and strengthen each other by sharing and educating ourselves. We have to stop cutting the pie because of culture or language, we know when we move into a neighborhood what the population is. These aldermanic positions are over rated and remapping causes boundaries.

Community Needs and Concerns
In the past couple of decades the West Loop has evolved in to a vibrant community with many families. Our community is currently divided between three different wards. As a result, our aldermen are often focused on the needs of other communities that represent a larger portion of their ward, and it is difficult for our community to act collectively.

Danger: REPORT July 20, 2021
Population: 69689
Cultural or Historical Interests
My immediate community is primarily Chinese immigrants who are at risk of gentrification due to expanding development in the South Loop. I would like Chinatown, Armour Square, and eastern Bridgeport to be grouped together as much as possible to consolidate the influence of this community.
Community Activities and Services
My community includes the majority of places I go during a typical week outside of work, including friends' houses, the grocery store, restaurants, etc.. This is essentially Chinatown, Armour Square, and Bridgeport. My broader community of places I typically go to would also include Pilsen and McKinley Park. I would say 90% of my non-work time is spent in the area bordered by 18th St, State St, Pershing, and Damen.
Economic or Environmental Interests
My community is near both the Stockyards and the Pilsen Industrial Corridor, as well as I-55 and the Dan Ryan. Many areas in the community have some of the worst air quality in the city. I would like for members of my community to have a voice in the policies in these areas.
