Fast growing community, so historical ties are very limited.

Shopping areas, fitness centers, neighborhood schools, library, parks and trails, healthcare services.
Economic or Environmental Interests
Several major corporations are primary employers, though most people commute into the Cities. Woodbury is a retail and medical center for the region. Contamination of the aquifers is a significant concern.
Community Needs and Concerns
Keeping the city in the same district should be considered. Public transportation is very limited and needs to be expanded, especially toward the eastern parts of the City. Affordable housing is in short supply, and is needed for the many retail and entertainment/restaurant venues in the city.

My community is over 80 percent white and is predominantly low income. People generally do not move into my community as much as they just never leave generation after generation.
Community Activities and Services
My community is made up of the people living in the 55071 ZIP Code. This is the city of St. Paul Park (population 5,362) and the township of Gray Cloud Island (population 307). Our children all go to Pullman Elementary, Oltman Middle, and Park High School.
Economic or Environmental Interests
My community is located between the Mississippi River and Highway 61. The main industry here is the St. Paul Park oil refinery. The oil refinery is located along the banks of the the Mississippi River as the River enters our community. My community is also five miles Downstream from St Paul and my community has to deal with the River pollutants discharged from both the cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul.
Community Needs and Concerns
The city of St Paul Park and it’s zip code is currently divided into two separate US congressional districts. It is my hope that they will be able to unify my community into the same US congressional district.
