I live in an area in Central Florida that essentially draws from at least a dozen smaller communities and there is a lot of over-lap in services, retail, healthcare, and public concerns and misunderstandings on "community" needs and solutions. We also share many different political entities with not much of a common understanding of the collective "community". We need a better way to conduct our planning and need to be able to reconstruct the "operational" landscape - ion that makes any sense!

My school was nearly 90% white. There's some hispanic community because it's FL but not a lot of diversity here.

My community is made up of people who go to my high school and are community figures (people I see at the grocery store, etc). I am also involved in local community organizations like the Find M' Friends bloodhound rescue.

My community is near Crystal River, and fishing, swimming, and wildlife are incredibly pivotal to our community.

There are a lot of old people and environmentalists. Also white, impoverished, drug addicted trailer parks.

My community is on a large river that is connected by canals to Lake Okeechobee. There are frequent discharges of dirty, toxic water into our river, leading to deaths of fish, Manatee, and turtles. It also impacts the nearby ocean fishing and our fishing/boating industry.

We value environmental protection and green space alongside our horseback riding trails. We are home to the only Horseman's Park in Orange County, where regional and local horseback riding competitions are regularly held. Preservation of the character of this area can be preserved only by constant attention to maintenance of zoning and development regulation within this area.
